Necklaces for layering

I love that layered necklace look and I’d like to get myself some necklaces but don’t know where to start it what to buy

Probably would go gold plated but budget is flexible

Have a look at Daniella Draper. Lots of different styles and inspiration.

I love the look too - lots fine necklaces but when I try they end up all tangled together! Anybody any answers to this?

Hang them on hooks and if they tangle use a bit of oil.. ideally baby oil but any food/skin safe oil works and gently massage/roll in your hand. You could then gently pat with a kitchen roll or towel to take off any excess oil if needed.

Missoma and Monica Vinader.

Amazon sell necklace separaters, like a long bar with the clasps on that you attach necklaces to, keeps them apart a bit

Only good use for straws that I know. Put a length of open chain through a straw and then fasten and hang. The straw will be on the chain. Works for me. I'm not advocating buying plastic straws as they cause so much harm. Just if you have some you don't want to end in the oceans right away. Otherwise use paper ones, or fold some paper to recreate the idea. You just slide the straw off when you want to wear it and then on again to hand. The chains don't tangle.

I’ll have a look at these and see if there are any I like

Also meant to say probably prefer gold or gold plated depending on price but worry with layering they might run against one another and colour would come off it only plated 🤔

Does oil stop them tangling when you wear them? Storing is easy, but I find they twist around each other when on, especially the shorter ones. I think that's what LunaTheCat means too?
