What's good? My dp has taken to asking me to do his back every morning and the man is covered in fur so the product just sticks and I use far too much. He likes a high SPF... Any recommendations please do I can stop wasting the kids' one on him

Thank you I can definitely try a spray concerned it might not get through to the skin though! Little search suggests oil is the way to go but all I've found so far is low SPF or very expensive. Any good oil ones out there?

We have a Piz Bruin spray one which works well on my hairy husband! The spray ones are much thinner liquid so rub in easier.

Asda's own spray oil is good. 5 star UVA and cheap too

Ultrasun Sports spray - it is clear and comes as a gel or spray. My DH is balding and uses it on his head and you can never see it. It is a bit pricey but QVC often have good offers.

We use P20 which is more liquid like. It’s expensive but highly recommend it.

MulberryPeony · 28/05/2020 10:47

Yes the ultrasun or p20 liquid one a day sunscreens are ideal for my furry DH.

BillyAndTheSillies · 28/05/2020 10:51

We use P20 for DH. He's very fair and hasn't burnt since we started using it - or had prickly heat which used to ruin our holidays.

We usually get it in TK Maxx or stock up when Tesco put it on sale in the winter.

Another recommendation for Ultrasun Sports or P20 - clear gel. Not creamy at all - much easier to apply.

Failing that wax him Grin

RubbishQueen · 28/05/2020 10:52

I'm using Tescos own water play. It comes with a trigger spray and it's fairly running so it should get through the fur.

RubbishQueen · 28/05/2020 10:52

Runny... not running.. 🤦‍♀️

ncqtime · 28/05/2020 11:17

Thanks all! Ultrasun is looking like the one then even if pricey as sensitive to piz buin unfortunately. Is p20 still that yellowy colour that ruins your clothes?

Ultrasun does yellow a bit but is better than p20 in that regard. I’ve never had anything washable stain with either though.

Good to know, thanks
