Saltwater sandals - persevere or send them back?

Ordered some gorgeous rose gold saltwater sandals from schuh...

Love them, left foot fits perfectly, but right foot is really tight on my wide feet. When you look at them off you can actually see the left shoe is a wider fit.

I am a size 7 with widish feet, ordered uk 7 and box says 8...

Will they stretch?!

Or have I got a dud pair and need to send them back?

Return them. When you get your new ones do the soaking thing. It makes a world of difference comfort-wise.

I had a similar pair last year from the New Look wide fit range and they're very comfy. I know it doesn't help your current situation but might be worth a look if these don't work out, or if you need more sandals!

They do look very different in width.

Have you measured them? I would do that and then report this to the customer service.

Lovely sandals btw.

Well that's great - tried calling customer service and message says they are closed - at 3pm on a Thursday!

Why bother even calling customer service under current circumstances? They are not Saltwater Sandal experts and even if they were, they will just say send them back for an exchange or a refund. Save yourself the time and just post them back tomorrow and reorder another pair. (Apologies if budget is an issue, but it looks like Schuh do exchanges. They won't bat an eyelid at someone reordering the same pair, just write on the order form, but even then, so what!)
