Has your hair stylist contacted you?

Just met a friend for a one-on-one catch up in the park. She said her hair stylist has sent out an email to all their clients saying 'Don't worry - we'll be in touch with you to book you in as soon as we have a firm opening date'.

My hair salon hasn't been in touch. I don't know if I'm going to need to call them, or if they will call me. I've called and the answering machine isn't on so I can't leave a message (I realise they aren't there!). I haven't had any contact as to how they will handle reopening/making a booking. Their website 'Contact us' button is disabled.

My hairdresser sent out texts to clients asking to phone and book appointments- presumably to at least book your slot now but not actually opening yet until July

I contacted mine via Facebook after I saw a post saying they were making a list of clients for appointments when they open

My hairdresser has sent a message that they hope to be opening in July and that people who had appointments booked in the first three weeks of lockdown will be rebooked first. I'm pretty happy about that as my appointment was one week after lockdown

Nope not directly about appointments, just a note on social media that she is prioritising everyone who was in the diary that missed due to lockdown from 4th July as per government advice, and she will contact those clients with dates and times.
She's said if everyone else can contact her she will create a waiting list and fill gaps/book them in. She usually works 3 days a week but has said she is going to be working 5 and a half to catch up and get everyone seen ASAP.

I go every 4 weeks normally and also get a blow dry twice a week

Mine set up a waiting list, I signed up virtually instantly so hoping I get an early July appointment when they start taking bookings

Yes, she texted me her mobile number and when 4th July was mentioned I booked straight in.

Mine contacted me with an offer of an appointment on 4th July. I cannot wait! 'Blonde' hair with dirty grey inch and half roots, not a pleasant look. Although my fringe cutting is passable

Yes, and per pp they are contacting people who missed appointments in order. I’ve missed two, but had it cut the week before lockdown.

I’m in Scotland and they said it will be August until they are allowed to open. ☹️

My hairdresser put a post on Instagram asking anyone who wants appointments after they hopefully open on July 4th to contact them.

I'm booked in for July 11th and it can't come soon enough.

Did you have an appointment booked? I've not heard anything but I missed an appointment the week before lockdown and hadn't revoked. Been checking their website but nothing there yet.

Yes I'm booked in 8th July and I can't wait! Haven't been since end of Jan and was booked in 4th April.

Mine has said all being well she has been told she can open on the 4th July. I’m booked in a couple of days after that.

Do they not have a Facebook page OP? Mine have posted lots since the start to say they have a priority list

Mine has been getting clients to pm pics of their roots, then she drops pre mixed colours/bleach at your doorstep, and talks us through colouring by video. She just charges cost price for the materials.
