Chunky sandals but not sporty

Can anyone please recommend some sandals/brands that are comfortable, chunky sole (saltwater too flat) but that aren't hiking sandals. Preferably not black.

I like the ones attached but they are too expensive (£110).

Birkenstocks. I have a few pairs of their sandals and they are very comfortable and chunky.

I think the first might be too high for me. Might have given them a try 20 years ago!

Do Birkenstocks feel a bit flip-floppy? That has always put me off.

I've had a couple of pairs of these Dune ones and they are so comfy and look fab. Just noticed they have 30% off everything so I may have to take a little look myself .

Gutted they only have those animal print ones in size 3. They are fabulous.

I definitely recommend the Birkenstock Mayari. I get a couple of pairs of them every year in different colours because they are really comfortable and they don't flip flop at all.

Grensons? ASOS stock them.

Firflops. Especially in the outlet section or when they’re doing their discounts/further reductions.

Might be worth a look now actually as they probably have a sale on for summer.

Fly London are good for chunky sandals.

If you're worried about Birkenstocks flip-flopping, they do a couple of proper sandals. Tulum for example.

I bought an almost identical pair from Toms last year too, but haven't looked at their current shoes.

I love those Art company sandals! Had never heard of them before.
