Free People sale - is it any good?

I've only just discovered Free People as I always assumed it was quite 'hippyish' but saw a lovely outfit on a random Instagram ad.

I've seen quite a few nice bits but it is on the dear side so I was wondering whether anyone knows how often they do sales and if they're any good.

I have seen them pop up on brand alley from time to time but that's limited stock and I'm unlikely to find the bits I'd like on there.

ASOS sell Free People clothing and often reduce the prices. Definitely worth a look.

I really like free people, just ordered the snake trucker jacket in the sale Grin

BabyDarlingDollfaceHoney · 27/05/2020 10:41

It's poor quality. I had a dress from there once and all the seams frayed and broke after minimal wear. It was a flowy dress as well so they were under no strain!

thebabessavedme · 27/05/2020 10:45

thats a shame @babydarling, I have loads of things from them and never had a problem with quality.

BertiesLanding · 27/05/2020 10:46

I find them over-priced and poorly made - which makes the "over-priced" part even worse.

JessicaDay · 27/05/2020 11:03

Not great quality for the price. Maybe would be ok at sale prices.

EllaPaella · 27/05/2020 16:18

They have some beautiful things -I just ordered a blouse via ASOS and the medium was absolutely huge - sizing is a bit hard to fathom. It was a lovely blouse (reduced to £34) but certainly not worth the original £110 price tag!

Oh I don’t agree re: quality at all, I’d say above average quality especially on knits. I have some lovely items from there.

WoahBodyforrrm · 27/05/2020 17:26

Thanks all.

Fingers crossed I can get the bits I’m after at a sale price. I’ll check out ASOS now 🤞🏼

The outfits I’m eyeing up are more loungwear so predominatly for round the house which is why I’d rather get a bit of a discount as no one will really be seeing me in it 😆
