Yes, another fucked-up my hair in lockdown thread 
I tried to touch up my roots with a highlighting cap, but the bit around my parting and top of my head has turned out almost white, making the roots very dark in comparison. I've used a purple toner for brassy highlights before, but I feel like this would be the wrong thing for very pale highlights?
I'd like to tone it down and make it look a bit more natural. I wondered about using a slightly darker blonde dye to add some streaks, but I'm worried I'm just going to end up looking stripey!
