Best waterproof mascara for sensitive skin?

One that actually holds a curl and stays put? I love my Heroine Make which literally doesn’t come off unless you use a special remover, but it really aggravates my skin.

Can anyone recommend a great mascara that’s actually waterproof and looks good but doesn’t break me out in eczema? Happy to spend more for the right thing, but I’ve spent a lot before and they’ve ended up being useless

Well, it is a bit hard to recommend mascaras for someone else. My eyes are a bit sensitive and water all day long. At the moment I am very fussy with brushes. I prefer bristle to those horrible rubber ones - they are very stiff on my lashes and sometimes my eyes feel quite bruised.

I always buy waterproof for the reason above. I cannot say it curls exactly, mind you , I wear glasses so just want to darken my lashes mainly.

At the moment, my favourite seems to be the Max Factor one - masterpiece? I really like the brush as I find it gentle.

Honestly, you need a tubing mascara. Removed with warm water only (not tears). Truly life changing. Kevin Aucoin’s is famous, but I found it too clumpy. Clinique’s is great, but DHC (online only in Australia) do a fabulous one. It stays put... no crumbles, can be rained on, hailed on, probably set fire to. It’s brilliant.

I second Clinique's Lash Power which 8s a tubing mascara. It stays put all day but is easy to remove with warm water. I use it daily. My mum is really sensitive to mascaras and I bought her this to try and she doesn't have any problems with it at all.

@Deathraystare I prefer proper bristles too. I curl my lashes so need a waterproof mascara that sets it properly. I know everyone’s sensitivity will be different but it’s still worth asking.

@justilou1 does it not aggravate skin then? My current one is equally hardcore but my skin does not like it!
