Mulberry or YSL help please!

Hi, I'm looking at getting either the YSL Loulou toy cross body bag or the Mulberry small amberley satchel which has just gone on sale for £455 on mulberry compared to £880 for the YSL

Ysl - definitely. The mulberry one has already dated.

I've never had an YSL bag but I've got a few Mulberry and they are lovely. I don't like the big YSL in gold on those bags, I think they look a bit brash.

I much prefer the Mulberry. I think the large YSL logo looks tacky.

Also agree YSL. The Mulberry is lovely but they are shooting themselves in the foot by changing their collection so much from season to season - it will date was soon as it’s discontinued which will undoubtedly be soon. Even though YSL do bring new things out their designs are more timeless I think. So while it’s very much one of the Instagram bags of the moment amongst a certain set of bloggers, I’d say it will date less longterm.

I wouldn't purchase any brand that Mike Ashley is involved with so Mulberry is a huge no for me. I'm not surprised the brand is struggling hugely.

I love the YSL - I've looked at that one too. I think Mulberry is a bit past its best personally, I wouldn't buy one now. Sorry to anyone who has one!

YSL for sure, much classier. I'll get flamed for saying this, but Mulberry is becoming a bit common.
