The ordinary lactic acid 5%

Can I use this every night? It had such a lovely effect on my skin the following day and it does say once per day on the box, then goes on to say contact with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration. I leave it on all night.

I have been using this every night for a week for textural issues and wearing a SPF 50 with no issues

I would use it no more than 3 times per week. There won't be enough dead skin cells to clear off every day.
