Do you have hair on your inner thighs?

I do and I have to shave it in a certain direction but it gets sore. Is it classed as excessive body hair?

No, none. I am a very hairy person though - fingers, toes, back, you name it, and since the salons are closed, a Stalin type situation occurring on my upper lip...

Bluewavescrashing · 20/05/2020 20:29

Pcos here too. It's a nightmare.

Candy150 · 20/05/2020 20:29

No, I don’t. Don’t have any hair on my thighs.

HavenDilemma · 20/05/2020 20:30

No! Absolutely none! I've never ever heard of this......

dementedma · 20/05/2020 20:31

No, not on inner thighs.

MissyBB · 20/05/2020 20:32

I am pale with dark hair, arms, legs, face and arm pits with triple hairs in one root, daily shaving required. The Philips Lumea changed everything its fantastic. It kills the root so no regrowth.

ComeOnGordon · 20/05/2020 20:33

Yes and it’s something that’s bothered me my whole life. I bought a Wilkinson intuition to deal with the fine blonde facial hairs I’ve developed and that has changed my life. I need something as revolutionary for the brown hairs that escape out either side of my knickers. Once salons are back open I think I’m going to invest in laser hair removal. Shaving is ok but they grow back so fast

Ginfizplease · 20/05/2020 20:36

I'm absolutely aghast that people haven't heard of this and that so many of you don't have it.

I have always had dark hair on my thighs (and everywhere else). When I shave I have to go from ankles to belly button with no breaks.

I have a lumea now and just getting to grips with it but even that hasn't got rid of it all completely so is still have to shave

EllaPaella · 20/05/2020 20:40

I don't have visible hair on my inner thighs, it certainly doesn't need shaving or waxing
I was mortified to discover hair on my big toes recently - so I am now having to wax my toes. I'm 41.

Scbchl · 20/05/2020 20:46

No I dont have any hair at all on my legs above my knees much to my 15 year olds disgust who has to shave her thighs.

Hoppinggreen · 20/05/2020 20:47

My bikini line is heading for my knees!

MeadowHay · 20/05/2020 20:48

@Ginfizplease me too! How the other half live, without these worries! Wink

I'd just like to point out that being particularly hairy can sometimes be a symptom of something medical like PCOS but it certainly isn't always. How hairy you are is largely based on your genetics. I have mixed heritage and I feel very hairy as I live here, and compare myself to fairer, less hairy Brits, but compared to women of my middle Eastern heritage, my hairiness is the norm.

In answer to your question, yes I do have hair on my inner thighs. Dark and mostly quite fine, but I do get some big thick ones that are like pubes but pretty far out compared to my actual pubes. The pube like ones I only started getting over the last couple of years, but I'm only in my twenties so I'm expecting my hairiness to continue to get worse and worse Sad as it seems to already becoming more the older I get.

Oblomov20 · 20/05/2020 20:51

No.
Although I've had chin hair and thus electrolysis since my 20's.

My underarm and leg shaving is occasional.

MuthaClucker · 20/05/2020 20:51

No. Well, I have the fine blonde hairs that you can’t see, but no pubic type hairs.
I’ve read enough over the years to know that lots of women do though.

iMatter · 20/05/2020 21:30

None on my inner thighs and downy hair only on my legs.

Newcatmum · 20/05/2020 21:33

I'm dark haired and very hairy but funnily enough this is one part of my body that is actually smooth.

Corcra · 20/05/2020 21:43

I’ve pcos and yes I’ve hair there. I always wax it, I find shaving very irritating to my skin in that area.

skinnyhotchoc · 20/05/2020 21:50

Yes the odd straggler

supadupapupascupa · 20/05/2020 21:54

No. Never have

PersianStar · 20/05/2020 22:07

I have probably 10 hairs half way up my inner thighs but they are more like leg hair than pubes.
I also only have about 10 hairs in my arm pits too. Everywhere else is what I’d class as normal, I’m dark not fair either.
Always been like it since puberty and only 36 now so nothing to do with menopause

Mistymonday · 20/05/2020 22:09

Yes, but its fine.

orangina · 20/05/2020 22:19

Disastrous since menopause. Practically a pelt. Would be a full time job armed with Lumea to deal with all of it.

threesecrets · 20/05/2020 22:56

I have thick black hair on the back of my legs. How some people can have a half leg wax baffles me. I must be some sort of gorilla

Ginfizplease · 21/05/2020 11:14

@MeadowHay ah a fellow hairy!

I apparently have polycystic ovaries (scans have shown many ovarian follicles) but I don't have the syndrome other than hairiness. My father is very dark haired but my mother was very fair and didn't bother shaving most of the time!
@threesecrets that baffled me too when I first saw it on a price list! I just thought those people didn't wear shorter clothing and only got the bottom of their legs out until I realised that they just didn't need it above their knees!

HAB86 · 21/05/2020 11:17

Yes down to knee level, but not on the outside of my thighs Hmm
