I have really enjoyed the summer beauty box from M&S in previous years. I can’t remember when they launch them, do we think they will offer one this year?

It was the end of June last year - I remember as we just returned from holiday in time! Grin

DobbyTheHouseElk · 20/05/2020 08:07

Thank you. Well done for remembering. I hope they do one this year.

Me too - I think we could all do a with a 'pick me up' at the moment. Although tbh I'm still working through the products from my Advent Calendar!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 20/05/2020 09:47

That’s what made me think, I found a perfume from last summers box and I’ve started using it. I don’t think I’ve got much left from the advent calendar.

28th May ( it was June last year , I made a Special Trip to M&S in Bradford then changed my mind when I saw the contents )

Cannot see all of but looks like Colour Wow , Percy+Reed, L'Occitane, M&S Suncare, Nuxe , Ren and I cannot tell what else

No price given

DobbyTheHouseElk · 20/05/2020 14:22

@70isaLimitNotaTarget, ooh thanks, where have you seen this?

I Googled Summer Beauty Box 2020 (because I wanted to know , I was waiting patiently for an announcement Grin )

ajandjjmum · 20/05/2020 15:50

That's great - thank you 70isaLimit!

Frankiefree · 20/05/2020 16:30

I can only see last years when I google.

Just looks like the same old stuff from previous beauty boxes and calendars... don’t think I’ll bother

DobbyTheHouseElk · 20/05/2020 19:16

Thanks all. I wonder what the Pure product is. I’ve been using the day cream since the advent calendar. It’s really good.

Richlyfruited · 20/05/2020 19:31

Thanks for sharing link. Not sure about the contents Hmm I'm only really interested in trying the Ren and Pure products!

I already have the perfume which is nice but the 100ml bottle was cheap as chips!

latedecember1963 · 22/05/2020 09:30

Does anyone know how much it costs?
I've had a look on the website but can't spot a price unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

ajandjjmum · 22/05/2020 10:21

I can't remember how much it was last year, but there does seem to be more in it this year. Unless I'm completely losing it!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 22/05/2020 14:01

I can’t remember how much it was last year. Sorry. Nor can I remember if you had to spend a fixed amount to buy it, like with the advent calendar. I’ve had one for the past few years and really enjoyed them. I think last year I got 2.

OP posts:
DobbyTheHouseElk · 22/05/2020 14:01

Maybe £20 ish?

OP posts:
MathsFiend · 22/05/2020 14:20

Think you usually have to spend £40 to get them? And then it’s maybe £15?

ajandjjmum · 22/05/2020 15:16

Those figures ring bells now MathsFiend - so actually very reasonable as long as there is something you 'need' to buy!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 28/05/2020 08:39

Today’s the day folks.

Looks good, I’m going for it. The pure day cream is something I use and love. Worth it for that.

Now to spend £25.

I'm usually a complete sucker for an M&S Beauty Box but something about seeing those travel sizes really depressed me. (a) because I'm not going anywhere any time soon, and (b) because I already have an IKEA storage unit full of fiddly little shampoos and conditioners and that pointless L'Occitane shower gel that always gives me the rage.

I might - shock horror - give this one a miss.

Meandyouandyouandme · 28/05/2020 12:09

I’ve never bought one before but like the look of it, and needed some new sheets so now looking forward to a treat in the post, seems very good value for £15 to me, thanks for the heads up @DobbyTheHouseElk

DobbyTheHouseElk · 28/05/2020 12:24

I’m struggling to spend £25. But I’m going to find something!

OP posts:
redroses86 · 28/05/2020 12:52

I really like the contents of the box. But struggling with the £25 spend....I need Pixi tonic and some more of the Pure moisturiser so it’ll have to be that. A bit silly given its free in the box but I’ll use it!
Nothing in the womenswear or kids wear appeals to me.

JemIsMyNameNooneElseIsTheSame · 28/05/2020 12:57

Does anyone know what happens if you return the £25+ purchase you made? Do they ask for the beauty box back? Grin
