GHD Glide

Sorry if there has been threads on this but has anyone got and loved the GHD Glide? I have bobbed hair, reasonably thick but has a definite wave if left to dry naturally.
I want to be able to style/tame my hair without having to wash, blow dry, use the babyliss big hair then straighteners to get straight smooth hair.
I used to have a babyliss heated brush but it conked out a couple of years ago and as my birthday is coming up wondered if the Glide was worth the hefty price tag.

I have longer hair and bought the glide. I have to admit I use it now and again but don't love it. it is a bit flat and unwieldy for shaping the hair at all and whilst it will smooth out any kinks, say if I had my hair in a ponytail, it doesn't seem to do enough of one thing or another to justify being so pricey. My technique might not be great but it seems to iron out any volume. I would prefer a round shape.

I have it and love it. My hair is pretty straight anyway but it gives it a nice finish, not as ‘perfect’ as straighteners, more natural, which I love. Plus I feel as you’re not clamping it’s better for hair and it’s quicker too.
