The candles are lovely and last a long time. I don’t really like their bath and body products, they are too expensive for what they are in my opinion. I’d rather splash out on Jo Malone or Elemis.
White Company clothes are still good quality but eye-watering your expensive.
The towels (Egyptian cotton and hydro cotton) last years and are worth every penny

I had one of their Christmas candles and it was lovely. Worth the splurge.

I also have a cashmere scarf from there. Bloody expensive but it is the best scarf ever so again, worth it.

I'm actually just using the last wee bit of my "Winter" pillar candle tonight, and am going to buy a different one this evening OP. I agree with the others, the scent lasts for ages, so it's well worth the money I think, it's never had that waxy smell that cheaper candles can do after a while. FWIW I've found that the pillar candle is much better value than a ones in the jar.

I was bought some White Company towels as a house warming gift fourteen years. They are still going strong, and in much better nick than some other towels we were given at the same time, which are frayed and thinning. Same amount of use.

Fourteen years ago

I have their towels and lots of bed linen. Mostly bought in the sales! I think it’s good quality but the clothes are a bit Home Counties boring!

DKanin · 18/05/2020 00:41

The candles, towels, bed linen, robes and nightwear are great. The clothes really aren't brilliant quality for the prices. I'd really recommend getting bed linen and towels when they're on sale though, you'll be so glad you did!

DKanin · 18/05/2020 00:42

Also - I wouldn't bother with the toiletries, I don't think they're anything special at all and very pricey for what they are.

Clemmieandareallybigbunfight · 18/05/2020 00:43

The childrens night clothes are lovely

YappityYapYap · 18/05/2020 00:43

Bed linen and candles yes. Body soap, not so much. I bought two bars and they smell really nice but once applied, they dry my skin out and the smell doesn't stay on my skin once washed off

BeaLola · 18/05/2020 10:20

Candles and I buy towels in the sale. Have bought kids pjs on sale before and they were also good. Clothes are too expensive for what they are - quality of women's clothes has gone down imo

Tacobellend · 18/05/2020 13:04

Thank you , I'll definitely buy towels next time the offers on . I've bought a lime and bay candle and oil for my diffuser .

The plain white porcelain plates they sold me in the early 1990s are still going strong, just reduced in number. I wish they still sold them. Towels are good, and some of the sheets have done well.

LakeTittyHaHa · 18/05/2020 13:43

I love their candles and body lotions. Worth the money in my opinion

What I don’t rate is their bed linen. I bought two sets a year ago and they haven’t stood up as well as cheaper brands. They needed ironing after every wash, the pillow protectors went all bobbly, and one of the duvets has now split at the seam. Comparing that to duvet and bedding sets from M&S which we have had for seven years which are still almost perfect, I don’t think the price White Company is charging is justified

overtly · 18/05/2020 14:56

We've been buying the same scent from them for years, it's the smell of our house now. Have never found anything to compare and actually the diffusers last quite a long time.

MerryDeath · 18/05/2020 20:26

i don't think anything from the white company is worth it. it's just dressed up high street shit. there are plenty of artisans making that sort of thing better, not importing, ethically and consciously.

CarrieMoonbeams · 18/05/2020 23:10

Ooh, I'll be interested to hear what you think of the Lime & Bay candle OP - I was tempted by that one but opted for Seychelles instead.

TSSDNCOP · 19/05/2020 17:57

Towels, candles, diffusers, bedding, pillows, glassware and baby gifts. Occasionally clothes, love the pyjama trousers. I'm a complete junkie and it's where I buy all my friends gifts too.

Countmeout · 19/05/2020 20:01

The little girls floral dressing gowns. Feel lovely. But I’ve always bought in the sales. My daughter really loves the Winter candle.
