Jewellery for the Awesome

I would love some new necklaces and bracelets and trinket-y type accessories but am not sure where to look and seek your help.

What I am looking for is not ‘husband buys on big wedding anniversary’ stuff but just cool little things I can put on that make my outfit look like I bothered and, y’know, followed it through.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Depends on your style I think? I like cult of youth.

PammieDooveOrangeJoof · 16/05/2020 23:50

I have started a little collection of missoma stuff and lovely quality and packaging.

When lockdown is over and I can move about freely I'll enjoy choosing outfits. It's pj pants and band T-shirts every day here. I'm heavily pierced so I think I'm okay for jewellery but I would like to wear necklaces, bracelets and rings again. Though all of those are band merch so I'm not really helping at all Grin

Oooh thanks for these ideas - I will look at them all. Please keep them coming.

My style is a bit louder than quite a lot of modern insta stuff with discreet chains and pendants, but layered that is great.

I like a fair bit of coloured plastic, or things like friendship bracelets with ‘ODFOD’ woven into them. (Haven’t got a friendship bracelet like that but would definitely buy it if I saw it).

I think www.moho-london.com is great for classy statement pieces and www.puravidabracelets.co.uk is fab for more boho stuff.

Butterymuffin · 17/05/2020 00:59

Bookmarking for ideas!

I keep meaning to try Anonymous Jewelry which does subscriptions but also sells from the website - low budget costume stuff but it looks fun.

I am a jewellery obsessive. I think I’ve said this on here before but I dream of having style to rival Mr T’s 😁.
I like quite gothic/unisex/statement kind of stuff. I just bought an incredible ring from The Great Frog that I can’t wait to arrive. They make a lot of jewellery for old classic rock bands.
I also love Bloody Mary Metal. They are still quite gothic but they have a dark and light side on their website so you can filter by what style you want. They have some beautiful lariat style necklaces.
Other favourites are Tessa Metcalfe. She wins the award for most beautifully presented jewellery. It’s all based around pigeon feet so is pretty unique. Also Regal Rose, Margaret Cross (American so shipping is expensive), Empty Casket and Omnia Studios are also fantastic.

Butler and Wilson have some fab stuff - I have this bracelet:

@WeCameToDance I like your style. I love ALL those you’ve mentioned. I’ve coveted tessa metcalf rings for years then showed a friend of mine now SHE has a massive collection and I have none! So jealous!

MoltoAgitato · 17/05/2020 09:10

Also, estellabartlett.com/ for earrings.

People actually wear a friendship bracelet with the acronym for “Oh do fuck off dear” on it? Bizarre.

Yeah etsy is good but can be overwhelming.
