How to revive faded black, patterned clothes?

Recently used a Dylon washing machine pod, but want to revive some black clothes that have coloured patterns, i.e. keep the lovely coloured patterns and revive the black base/background.

Any ideas, folks?

Thank you! 😊

Um, I am not sure you can do that.

The only relevant thing is that I think black dyes are never truly black, they begin with a blue or red. So it might be possible to dye these garments with a blue or red. This would darken the base and you would have some 'interesting' new colours in the pattern.

Depends on the colours and the material. Especially the stitching. I've dyed black and white striped stuff before and it's come out black and charcoal grey which was nice.
If you're trying to dye something that's say black and yellow then its probably not gonna work.

Righto, thanks folks. Material is cotton with red, green, white pattern on the black...
