Caring for curly hair

My son is 1 year old and has curly hair that sometimes falls in to lovely curls and other times is a giant frizz ball. Is there anything I can be doing to encourage the curls and stop the frizz? Its always particularly frizzy around the area where he sleeps. I was his hair almost everyday with baby shampoo and brush it while wet, brushing the hair on the top of his head forwards towards his eyes and the hair on the sides gets brushed downwards towards the ears.

Use a gentle, sulfate-free baby shampoo only once or twice per week. One like the child's farm shampoo is fine. ”Wash” with moisturizing conditioner every 1-2 days. Again, you can use the child's farm one. Pat with an old tshirt when he comes out of the bath, and use a wide toothed comb like this after using the tshirt. all the best x

I know very little about haircare so I have no idea what tou mean by moisturising conditioner. I thought all conditioners were moisturising. Should I be looking for specific ingredients or conditioners for dry hair?

If its where he's sleeping on it, try a silk pillowcase.
