Is anyone doing any? I have a bunch of things (clothes, shoes) I’d like to sell as they’re warmer weather stuff so now is the time. But is anyone buying or has it all collapsed? Can’t be bothered if things aren’t strong right now

TIA!

I'm not selling because I rarely have much that is worth selling but I'm still buying.

I list a few things a week, clothes and shoes amongst them, sales for me have been slightly up recently tbh.

I think it's pot luck. I listed about seven items a few weeks ago. The stuff I expected to sell immediately are still there, but a few random things sold quickly.

I don't necessarily think the current situation will make it worse. Lots of people don't need to leave stuff soaking in bleach in the garage for two days and are happy to buy second hand. The risks are arguably less than having something shipped from a warehouse where it could be handled by lots of different people.

I tend to list a couple of things at a time, using the app, then I might tidy it up or add more detail on the desktop version. Takes about 20mins all in, is free and the listing runs for ever so I just forget about it.

Ok great. Thank you! I’ve got so much (have done a big clear out). Was thinking of just listing a couple of things a day and getting it all up there.

Still buying bundles of clothes for the kids (warm weather clothes, not winter). Bought a really nice T-shirt bundle for myself too, though I’ve paused on the usual toys/household items etc right now. Clothes we need, the rest can wait til finances are clearer and less of a worry.

Agree it's a bit random - certain things are selling well e.g used perfume, books but clothes a bit less predictable.

Had a couple of annoying returns and buyers recently. I wonder if people have more time on their hands to find fault and complain or maybe buying on impulse because they are bored Hmm

If you are hoping to post things using Royal Mail, you might want to have the listings ending on the same day. The local post office to me is only open certain hours and there's queuing.

List them, you might as well.

Definitely impulse buying for me.

I've sold some stuff that had been up for a while. I think sales are up
