I'm nearly 70 and usually have my auburn/brown hair highlighted at the hairdressers. Needless to say its impossible at the moment and I'm quite alarmed by all the grey hair that's appearing. There is still a tiny bit of highlight in there somewhere. Also my hair is very thick and coarse.
Can anyone recommend a colour that you think might work which I can buy over the counter. Should I use the 24 shampoo one or something a bit stronger. I know I need to go light as nothing looks worse than a pretend red/brown at my age. It wouldn't suit my complexion either. Any good/easy ones you'd recommend for a starter.
