Yes I know its May but I have the coldest feet in the entire world, and I'm working from home at the moment. My feet are constantly frozen. I need boots, not low cut slippers and as thermal and toasty as possible. Any recommendations? Ta

Celtic and Co. Sheepskin slippers.

Ninkanink · 11/05/2020 10:25

(They do booty slippers)

ElizabethMainwaring · 11/05/2020 10:26

Next do lovely suede slipper boots. Sorry I can't do a link. They are so comfy and warm. I buy a pair every year. Come in navy and tan. £26.

KellyMarieTunstall2 · 11/05/2020 12:26

UGG boots. I wear mine as slippers, my feet are always cold.

AuntieMarys · 11/05/2020 12:31

The Crltic ones are fab. 3rd year here.

OneOfTheGrundys · 11/05/2020 14:17

Another vote for the Celtic Sheepskin house boots.
Pricy but last ages. I’m on my second pair in 10 years.

Elouera · 11/05/2020 14:20

I assume you have ruled out thyroid issues, Reynaud's or anaemia?

If so, I'd pair your boots with thermal socks. I've got some alpaca wool ones which are very toasty!

Lottapianos · 11/05/2020 14:26

Celtic Sheepskin are super pricey . Good call on the alpaca wool socks, will investigate! Thanks

Mine are called Shepherd sheepskin slippers (boots). They were 70 pounds but the worker in the shop was still wearing a pair she got 3 years ago so I justified it because I was buying them with birthday money and also it's similar price to 3 pairs of m&s slippers. They are so comfy, it's like walking on clouds.

PlanDeRaccordement · 11/05/2020 14:48

Mukluks slipper boots are great.

cannaethink · 11/05/2020 19:05

Sheepland slipper boots! Look on eBay and Amazon for factory seconds. They’re about £50 but last years.

Greenvalleymama · 11/05/2020 20:08

I have Bearpaw boots, I think they’re like Uggs so they’re made to go outside in but I only wear them indoors. I’ve had them for years now and they’re the warmest boots ever. Make sure whatever you get is made from real sheepskin rather than acrylic fleece stuff, it makes all the difference.

Dirky · 11/05/2020 23:13

Echo previous posters re:sheepskin boots.

If you go to eBay just search “sheepskin boots” and whatever size or style you prefer (eg “tall black sheepskin boots”) and you should be able to get a real pair (there’s lots of brands which are real sheepskin but not as expensive as Ugg’s

Technically you can wear them outside but just keep them as a house slipper and your feet will be Smile GrinBear

For a budget option try House Of Slippers website and look at the sheepskin pixie slippers. Two pairs for £20 and seriously warm. I second the alpaca socks.

I’ve got some sheepskin slipper booties that are from John Lewis and they are vey warm and comfortable.
I do agree with the previous post about uggs. They are super warm. Pricey but worth it if you want really toasty feet.

StuckBetweenDarknessAndLight · 12/05/2020 00:02

I love my Bedroom Athletics slipper boots! Not too pricey, warm and soft and wash well.

jcurve · 12/05/2020 07:36

Agree with @ChikiTIKI, Shepherd Boots are awesome. My husband is onto his second pair in five years and so am I.

I have both the ballerina kind and boot kind, they’re both amazing. I think they come from Sweden. Also on Amazon too.

I inherited a pair of Uggs from my mum (she didn't like them, not that she actually died) and wore them round the house as slippers until they fell apart. I asked for recommendations on here, and someone suggested Costco's version, which were about £30 - they are brilliant, proper sole for going out with the bins or whatever, sheepskin, and super-cosy. Mine are about three years old now and going strong still.

Lottapianos · 12/05/2020 10:36

Thanks everyone. Found some sheepskin lined boots on Ebay for thirty quid. They look fab. No more freezing feet!

I came in to post exactly this question! I was eyeing up a pair on the Hush site but they're out of stock. There's some beauties on Celtic & Co - does anyone have a referral code? And how's the sizing I'm a 5.5/6. Thanks. x
