Would anyone tell me a good moisturiser?

I have a difficult 'skin type' to pin down. I get dry patches where the cheeks and nose are. But I am very spot prone. Wouldn't say my skin is 'oily' but if I try moisturisers for dry skin, they break me out.

I have tried Nivea soft and the one in a blue tub. Both break me out.

Effeclair duo broke me out something rotten!

Was about to purchase Charlotte Tilbury Magic cream but it seems to break people out with skin like mine. I liked it because its apparently a good base for make up.

So, I'm needing something for combination skin that blemishes fairly easily. But it must also sit well to be a base for make up.

Thank you Flowers

CeraVe moisturising cream or Dr Jart+ Ceramidin

I've tried lots but switched to Olay Total Effects touch of sunshine as it doesnt give me spots and gives a hint of tan which makes me look healthy/hides old blemishes. Clarins really gave me spots.

At night I use Estee Lauder night repair and no issues.
