Anyone have long, fine hair?

Always had long hair but as i've got older i struggle to keep it in good condition past a certain length, it's very fine and seems to go dull/brittle, split ends and generally an unmanageable frizzy dead bush :( i cut it all short about 10months ago and its healthier but i miss my long hair - any tips on keeping long finer hair healthy as we age!???

I have long fine hair

You sort of have to handle it like you would silk or cashmere Grin

So not wash too often, not too much product, avoid or minimise heated styling. My hair looks best on the 2nd day after washing

I use a very gentle shampoo (Aussie everyday is good, or Avesta or REN) and a small amount of conditioner (without silicones, REN does an ace one) in the ends

Hey just wanted to update - been sticking to some simple guidelines and its working! Biggest change is NO heat. Washing in cool water, hairdryer on slow cool setting at most. Im also protecting it where i can and using less shampoo. Condition is much better, lengthening obvs remains to be seen!

Cool!
