Composite bonding

I had Invisalign which finished towards the end of last year. When it was finished I had some composite bonding on my front few teeth. I paid quite a lot for this. I wasn’t madly happy with the entire process or my dentist but that’s another story.

I have a retainer I wear every night but last few weeks I’ve noticed my front teeth have chipped and the composite bonding is ragged and looks awful. I don’t wear this retainer every evening and don’t do anything I’m aware of which could chip it.

Has anyone else had composite bonding and had it chipped? I’ve not yet even had it a year, is it really that high maintenance? And would you consider pushing dentist to repair for free?
