Missing Beauty Treatments?

Hi

I know there are more important things to consider at the moment but is anyone else really missing beauty treatments?

I can't wait to get my hair cut and coloured and have my eyebrows waxed. It's not just vanity, I feel like I'm taking care of myself and having a bit of a treat. I also have a lovely hairdresser and beauty therapist I can chat to whilst in the salons. I'd also love to have a pedicure.

I stopped having my nails done regularly as it is so expensive. Every weekend I make sure they are clean, filed and sometimes I put some clear nail varnish on.

Me too. I don't consider myself high maintenance but then I moan about long straggly hair, grey roots, ugly toenails and my grown out LVL so I probably am.
I've treated myself to some lux skincare during lockdown to compensate.

It's always good to treat yourself. What is LVL?

Yes I have my extensions tightened every 8 weeks, highlights every 4 weeks, nails every 3, lashes every 2 weeks and a spray tan every week. I look an absolute fright at the moment and it's very depressing.

I'd love to go and have my eyebrows and upper lip threaded, I really struggle to keep on top of them with tweezers.

Yes. My hair/beauty therapists are also friends and I miss them and feel for them for their businesses.
I feel selfish saying this amongst many people suffering currently, but yes, I miss the pampering and well being feeling.

Yep missing hairdresser , the woman who my special med grade facials, the clinic the plucks my brows and tints eyelashes.
My only thought is that I think I think absolutely everyone will have bad hair at end lockdown. It end to spend money on good skin care than makeup.
I have started to go to works with only lipstick and fill in brows and nobody has commented!

@pizzaandchoc, it's eyelash tinting and curling. Lasts for about 6 weeks and means there's no need for mascara.

@Blahblahland .... ah .... sounds good. If I had the money and everywhere was open I'd be going for all sorts of treatments

I was just thinking this yesterday, looking back at pictures with my Russian lashes Sad. Can't wait to get them done again when it's possible, mascara just doesn't cut it!
