Trouser hunt - help wanted

I am in need of some casual summer trousers. Over the winter I lived in black skinny jeans. Now on lockdown I’ve been wearing some old camping/walking trousers since I had them in the house, but I would like to find something better to wear on summer weekends when we are allowed out and about again. I’ve had M and S chinos before but don’t know if they’re a bit stuffy looking? What should I get? If it helps:
• I’m size 12, 5’3 tall, 32 years old
• Footwear will be converse/vejas/supergas or saltwater sandals
• Tops will be tees and causal shirts, plus maybe a denim jacket, generally quite an a tomboyish style
• Budget up to £70ish

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Sorry just noticed your height - I'm about your height, not quite Petite range but almost. So I go for ankle grazer length if possible, I know Dorothy Perkins is good for trousers that kind of length.

Just had a look online at Dorothy Perkins- they've got lots of ankle grazer trousers in different colours, & everything is discounted until midnight.
You could buy several pairs for £70!

Nice, would look good with a denim jacket.

H&M linen joggers are great for summer - comfy, look good with sandals and trainers, ankle length and you can roll them up as needed. here

Boden Richmond ankle grazers. Or Gap bi-stretch skinny ankle grazers.
Boden Hampshire's are amazing but less casual.

@TheCanterburyWhales those are a bit smart for weekend wear for me I think, but they look great for work, love the colours of the Boden ones.

Linen paperbag trousers are really comfy. I got several pairs in Fatface sale. Uniqlo are good for ankle grazers.
