Eyelash Curlers

Lots of articles from make up artists rate them but are they worth it and if so which ones ?

I have short straight sparse lashes - in past have had lash lift treatment but last time it didn't really work - when it has it does make my eyes look more open - with mascara I haven't found a great one that can curl my lashes - and also makes them look spidery

I've just bought some Tweezerman eyelash curlers and they were worth every penny. Slightly more pricey than what I'd usually buy but they curl amazingly!

The lift and curl I get from them lasts all day and my eyelashes really stand out.

I wouldn't be without my eyelash curlers. I have dark lashes so I find if I don't curl them it doesn't make much difference but when I curl them it definitely makes my lashes stand out more. I've had mine for years, can't remember the brand but they were relatively cheap ones that came with a makeup set I think.

I use cheap ones but warm them with the hairdryer before curling. My curled lashes last all day. After you’ve warmed them check the temperature or the metal against your lips before putting them near your eye though!

Love them - I forgot to take them on holiday with me once and it just didn't look right!

I have straight lashes too, and always heat mine up with a hairdryer before using them and then have a quick go with them once mascara's on too.

I have the Tweezerman ones too and love them. I've tiny eyes and they make a big difference

I haven't used them for years. Mascara is so good now I don't think it makes a difference.

I think it makes a huge difference. My eyelashes are quite long but not particularly curly so using the eyelash curlers really lifts them at the root. I always heat them with hairdryer first. I just keep them and mascara next to my hairdryer and hair products.

Finding the right ones can be a bit trial and error because everyone has slightly different eye shapes (as in the socket where the curve of the eyelash curler sits). Shu umera curlers were always touted as the bees knees of eyelash curlers but they actually didn’t fit my eye well so didn’t work well for me at all. I’ve got shiseido ones which work well for me and refill pads available.
