If you are a size 16 what size sweaty Betty legging do you have or are they the remit of the 10/12 womenGrin

They are pretty good with customer service and regularly feature models of all sizes, so be worth asking them what size is best. But their sizing is from xxs to xl

Their website says l and xl are size 14/16 I will warn you you'll never buy another brand again their legging really do such everything on

stakeholderwizz · 07/05/2020 10:00

Due to bloody lockdown weight gain I must be an XL! I've a birthday next week so fancy a splurge!

I’m a 12 bottom and wear a small. So I think large/XL would be fine. They are meant to be supportive and I find they definitely are. There are often offers so look out for one via Instagram or magazines.

sleepwhenidie · 07/05/2020 14:28

Will it be your first purchase stakeholder? If so I’d love to get your email address so we both get £25 off (refer a friend). I’d second the warning about getting addicted though Smile!

BlahBlahLand · 07/05/2020 14:29

I'm a big 12 and M fits well, I'd go L for a 16.
They're offering free postage and returns so you could buy different sizes.

cardoon · 07/05/2020 16:49

Which are best, Power or Zero Gravity leggings?

Ponks · 07/05/2020 17:25

I've recently bought a pair of the Power leggings and I'm an immediate convert. They are so comfortable and don't move. I hate the feeling of leggings creeping down and needing to be hoiked up, that doesn't happen with the Power.
I sound like an advert, really not but they are genuinely some of the best leggings I've ever had. Ps I'm a chunky 12/14 and M was fine.

cardoon · 07/05/2020 17:43

I have a pair of zero gravity and although I like them I find the fabric is a bit plasticy! Are the power ones made of different material?

BlahBlahLand · 07/05/2020 17:48

I've got Powers. When I looked at the Zero Gravity they felt thinner, I got the impression they were for serious running.
The side phone pocket in the Powers is a big bonus.

cardoon · 07/05/2020 17:55

I do like a side pocket

CafetiereCoffee · 07/05/2020 17:58

I’m a porky 16/18 and the XL is fine for the leggings. Tops are a bit tighter though. Agree with PP they are fabulous.

shuttheblinds · 07/05/2020 17:59

What is the length like in the leggings? I really fancy getting some but I am tall. Are they long?

Monsterjam · 07/05/2020 18:01

I’m a size 16, yes go for XL x

feesh · 07/05/2020 18:03

Are these for casual wear, or for exercise?

sleepwhenidie · 07/05/2020 18:25

shuttheblinds the full length leggings are long...too long for me with 28” inside leg anyway! I go for the 7/8ths length which ends just above my ankle

sleepwhenidie · 07/05/2020 18:25

feesh they are great for both!

winterisstillcoming · 07/05/2020 19:24

I've no idea about size conversions, but I bought some with my Christmas money and I'm obsessed. You won't be disappointed OP. What design were you thinking of getting??

stakeholderwizz · 08/05/2020 10:35

sleepwhenidie I will PM you

sleepwhenidie · 09/05/2020 00:23

Smile thanks!

checkedcloth · 09/05/2020 06:22

They are lovely but I have been totally put off by the fact that they are gifting huge amounts of free clothes to the instamums, even during lockdown.

I resent paying a high mark up when they are getting them for free. So I’ve switched to Lululemon

typicallyatypical · 09/05/2020 07:28

checkedcloth what makes you think Lululemon are any better? They gift to influencers too, maybe just not to the ones you follow.

checkedcloth · 09/05/2020 12:00

Maybe they do. But I find the influencers that SB gift too are totally removed from what the SB brand supposedly stands for. That coupled with the fact that they can all afford their £100’s of pounds worth of products makes me take my custom elsewhere. Although to be clear I’ve removed by custom from a number of brands that use instamums as their marketing strategy

winterisstillcoming · 09/05/2020 13:31

Checked cloth, interesting. I buy them because they are great quality. I bought my first leggings as I was passing them in selfridges and tried them on and loved them. All companies market but repeat custom will always be on the quality of the product.

WhatILoved · 09/05/2020 16:01

Has anyone got a code? Would love to save something - will be my first order and the welcome code not working

sleepwhenidie · 09/05/2020 17:10

@whatloved if you pm me your email address I can refer a friend to you too!
