Hair colour remover

Has anyone tried this product please? My hair is awful at the moment, with greys everywhere, my natural regrowth, some dark red dye near the roots and faded red dye everywhere else. Wondered if something like this might even things out a bit?

It’ll strip the colour out, but not to your natural colour, it will go orange.

I’ve used that one before, stripped the reds and dark blondes out and then put a blonde over the orange, then used a good toner to get a nice light blonde.

What colour are you trying to achieve?

Thanks for replying I think considering how many greys I have now I’d accept whatever colour will cover them best. I’ve been everything over the years so don’t really mind, I just look such a mess right now anything would do!

It will work to remove your existing colour but only if you’re planning on dying on top- it won’t return your hair to your natural colour it will turn it bright orange. I tried a very similar product years ago before I had any greys so can’t comment on that but I can’t imagine it will change the colour of those as it’s not adding any colour in if that makes sense?

Brown seems to be the easiest colour to dye hair at home. I’ve heard really good things about the josh wood hair dyes for covering greys, and they’re offering a service at the minute where you can email them for advice on what colour would be best for your current hair (which I think is free!)

Thank you! Definitely would have been surprised by turning orange so I won’t do it until I have the colour to go over the top to hand! Will look into Josh Wood, most appreciated
