Where might I find a pair of shoes that look like this? These were on an advert, but it was for an American site, and one of those dodgy looking "56% off!!!!!! Now only $36!!!!!!" type adverts at that, which use far too many exclamation marks for me to believe that a) they are good quality or b) they will actually arrive if I ordered them...

I'm looking for good quality, so don't mind paying for something that will last.

Any ideas?! Thanks!

They look similar to a Birkenstock Buckley here

Ooh spot on! Thanks! I could probably stretch to those if they're going to last several years... (will look for a darker colour than the 2 in the link, as I'd mark those in no time!).

If there are any good quality but slightly cheaper (thinking £40-60) brands that anyone knows of, I'd be interested.

I usually spend about £50 on a good pair of leather sandals, to last 3-4 years. But could stretch to higher for something perfect. £95 is really the top end of my budget being pushed, and I'd have to really love them and them be a perfect fit/comfort for that price!

Birkenstock's will last for years OP, definitely worth the money.

If you can stretch the budget then definitely go for Birkenstocks.

I have a pair of Birkenstocks that are 13 years old and still going strong and wearable. Some general ware and tear but it took a good 10 years before they started to look a bit old. I’ve only just caved and bought a new pair this year (different style and colour) and expect they will last me a good number of years.

I did buy a cheaper look alike sandal a few years back but they weren’t all that great. Not half as comfortable as the real things. I do have pretty sensitive feet though and can rarely cope with cheap shoes. I think they might have been from Aldi or Lidl and cost about £7/£8.
