Space NK - what to buy

Almahart · 04/05/2020 16:38

I've got a £50 Space NK voucher that is about to expire. I'm really struggling to know what to buy as it's all way more high end than I'd usually get.

I'd really like make up but can't get to the shop obvs. I'm mid 40s, classic Scottish/Irish colouring of dark hair and blue eyes.

Any suggestions?

They do a set of 3 Hourglass 'Scattered Light' eyeshadows that are absolutely 👌🏼

MaggieFS · 04/05/2020 16:50

Ask them to extend it until you can shop properly?

Swiftier · 04/05/2020 17:25

I’d probably get some nice bath and body products to pamper myself at home, they’ve loads of nice brands for this. Make up is a bit trickier if you can’t try on but could look at things like a good mascara or eyeliner (my thinking being you’d need to try these on less than a foundation or lipstick.)

Minesnotahighhorse · 04/05/2020 19:28

Anything from Drunk Elephant - pricey but amazing skincare! I think they do a set of miniatures so you can try a selection.

Rollergirl11 · 04/05/2020 19:58

Why not treat yourself to a nice face moisturiser?

buckeejit · 04/05/2020 22:42

Tell us some things you like.

They do lipstick queen which are lovely lipsticks. Or get a perfume. Or a candle. Try to get 2 things. Will be a push to get more than 2 I think.

buckeejit · 04/05/2020 22:48

The by terry hyaluronic powder is fab-they have a mini free if you spend £60 I think it was by Terry. All their stuff I've tried has been good so I'd risk that if you're not sure. Chantecaille is the best ever mascara imho or there's a free elemis set with £60pirchase

PersonaNonGarter · 04/05/2020 23:18

Do you like a bath? If so, Deep Relax by Aromatherapy Associates is just fab for pre-bed zonking out.

Overseasmom100 · 04/05/2020 23:20

Nars laguna bronzer

BeaLola · 04/05/2020 23:56

Aromatherapy Associates Bath Oils

Depends what "does it for you" but I like a candle - the Oskia rose one that you use as a massage oil is lovely, or a Diptyqye candle.

Why not look at their online magazine for inspiration

TheClitterati · 05/05/2020 01:04

By Terry rose lip balm

DukeOfEarlGrey · 05/05/2020 01:08

Diptique candle, Aromatherapy Associates bath oil (agree with a pp - Deep Relax practically sends me into a coma!) or you could have fun choosing a few minis from the travel section.

I miss browsing in Space NK. Thanks for letting us live vicariously OP!

Ooh! Lucky you! Hourglass Dim Light. It’s a finishing powder and even though you can’t see it on the skin you can see it in terms of the finish as you kind of glow. I wear very little makeup at the mo for video work calls but I always wear this.

Mascotte · 05/05/2020 07:01

By Terry Touche Veloutee undereye concealer. Amazing.

Nars sheer glow foundation (do a matching tool for your current brand to get the shade).

Oribe texturising hair spray stuff: volume and smells amazing.

Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée body creme

Laura Mercier creme bath - divine

Almahart · 05/05/2020 09:45

Thanks everyone! I went for a mini Nars blush/bronzer and an Hourglass foundation brush

Loved all your suggestions
