How do you organise your make up and brushes?

I have a new dressing table that has one drawer. I have about four small make up bags full and it’s hard to find what I’m looking for. Anyone got any good organisers?

I have one medium sized makeup bag with all my most used bits in - including brushes - then a bigger bag that has less used stuff in it. Works for me.

Those drawstring makeup bags that open up letting you see everything in them also look quite useful.

I have clear perspex boxes in my drawer, so I can see everything immediately. I keep lip, eye and face stuff separate.

I've tried many ideas over the years but this is the one that works for me.

I used to have everything in make up bags too but now I have clear plastic organisers in the drawer, and like PP arranged in eyes, lips, nails etc. I then have a basket on the dressing table with the foundation, concealer, brow pencil, mascara and blusher I use every day plus a pot for brushes. Much easier to find stuff!

I have separate make up bags for blusher and highlighter; eyeshadows, mascara and eye primer; lip liners and lipsticks; and foundation and primer.

I keep each of them upright and unzipped in a drawer. The ones I use the most are in the top.

I also keep a small make up bag in my handbag that has lip liner, lipstick, blusher and a mini highlighter.

Should have said. I have a separate bag for brushes, but I only have three - eyeshadow, blusher and foundation.

Marble Makeup Box,Cosmetic Bags... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07VRNS1JM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

I have that one from Amazon. You can move the dividers about to suit your products, I also have a small makeup bag that I keep my everyday products in. The marble one stays on my dressing table as an overflow/for my eyeshadow palettes

Drawer dividers which compartmentalise the make up into categories- foundations, blushers, powders etc (I actually use wooden boxes which fit together) eg https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07J2J73S8/ref=cmswwrcppapiii_ntXREb8YKYPKW

and a 3 compartment brush holder which stands on the top of the dressing table, and contains brushes as well as eye pencils, mascaras etc. Life is so much easier since I lost the make up bag- no more rummaging around trying to find things!

Brushes in a pot on the side. One drawer here too, organised into eyes etc. Do foundation etc jn the bathroom so keep that in the bathroom cabinet.

I use one of the drawers of my dressing table for make up, another for nails, another for hair stuff, with acrylic trays, one daily make up, another for surplus make up and another for brushes and applicators. I tried an organiser on the table but it looked cluttered, I think it's more hygienic in the drawer.

Look on WH Smith for 'drawer units'. They are perfect for this.

Pencil pots/old pretty candle jars for pencils and brushes. Bowls for lipsticks and powders. I keep it all out on dressing table. Very easy to use and I go through it ruthlessly so there isn’t that much that isn’t in regular use.

A mix of clear acrylic stackable drawers and one of these
