The ordinary

Hi girls

I've recently tried the ordinary foundation and been really impressed by it and now wondering is anyone would recommend their skincare products? I'm particularly interested in trying retinol which I've never used before.

I always cleanse tone and moisture daily and use an exfoliating scrub weekly, sometimes use a serum and eye cream, I mostly use Clinique and caudalie products.

Any advice greatly appreciated, thank you!

I love the Ordinary products and find they have made a difference to my slight signs of ageing. I'd recommend watching some of the Pampered Wolf YouTube videos where she talks about what she uses. Previously I had botox twice on my forehead, but find I don't feel I need it when I use these products. They're really reasonable. I was feeling a bit conscious of my skin looking a bit older, but honestly this stuff worked wonders.

Which do you use? I’ve got good skin I think it can be dry but never oily or spotty but now I’m 30 I want to implement something anti-ageing.

The bha aha chemical peel (it’s the red one) is very good

I have oily skin and love their glycolic acid and niacinimide

I'm a bit older, but still at first signs of aging:

I use the following:

Morning
Ascorbyl Glucoside (has bit C but gentle). 2-3 drops including under eyes
Buffet 3-4 drops which has peptides including eyes
Niacinamide 10% which is an antioxidant
Then moisturise

Evening
Lactic acid 5% HA 2 to 3 times per week. Not sure
Granactive retinoid 2% emulsion
Moisturise
Serum if you want

If you start using products like this you absolutely have to use a high SPF during the day.
If you go near the A-HA peeling solution - the raspberry coloured one - just use it once a month and you absolutely have to use an SPF during the day

That's meant to say not eyes - not not sure!!

Seriously I am no expert though. I just watched some YouTube videos from someone I feel knows their stuff and is a similar age. I feel there has been a significant difference, but at 30 I don't think I'd be doing this same routine.

That’s great, thanks for the advice!
