What should I order from L’OCCITANE?

After reading a thread on here I ordered the verbena shea butter soap which I love. I’m thinking of treating myself to another couple of items. What would you recommend? Would like to be able to smell the products but obviously I can’t at the moment.

Another vote for almond shower oil and skin oil they are superb.

Karmatime · 02/05/2020 21:16

I love the hand washes, there’s a new Rosemary one that’s gorgeous. Also another vote for the almond shower oil.

Cherry blossom hand cream and lip balm. I bloody love them!!

Yourownpersonaljesus · 02/05/2020 21:20

Thanks for all the further recommendations. I still can’t make my mind up! Has anyone with eczema used any of their products? I was thinking I might get my DD something (she’s an adult) too and she has eczema.

I love the lemon verbena perfume.

MandosHatHair · 02/05/2020 21:23

Another vote for the almond shower oil. A friend suggested using instead of shaving foam to shave my legs with and it is the only thing that doesn't give me shaving rash. I also love the milk viel afterwards. Actually anything from their almond range is lovely except for the hair care, that was disappointing.

AgnesNaismith · 02/05/2020 21:24

Almond body moisturiser in the glass pot, just beautiful - really light but the delicate smell lasts for ages - especially on jeans.

Also the Pierre herme crossover rhubarb range is delicious.

Slightly sweeter but their violet perfume is lovely too.

MandosHatHair · 02/05/2020 21:24

I have eczema, never had any problem with thier products.

BBBear · 02/05/2020 21:26

Almond shower oil!

saraclara · 02/05/2020 21:31

I love the verveine/verbena stuff. Shower gel or bath foam are great.

Floralnomad · 02/05/2020 21:34

I have eczema and I’m fine with their stuff .

WellTidy · 02/05/2020 21:35

all of the almond things except the body scrub which was quite ineffectual

The cherry blossom shower gel

The Shea hand cream is the best of them all imo

I love all of the soaps, but I think the smaller ones are easier to hold than the bigger bars

PrimalLass · 02/05/2020 21:37

Nothing IMO

FinallyHere · 02/05/2020 21:58

Almond milk concentrate to moisturise after almond shower oil.

Finally, my skin doesn't itch.

pissedoffwithprojects · 02/05/2020 23:20

Shea butter hand cream and almond shower oil. I agree with keeping an eye on QVC as they do some good sets.

TheCanterburyWhales · 02/05/2020 23:40

There are always offers- sign up to their website and you'll be inboxed discounts all the time (and free gifts etc)

Love all the soaps, the lavender range, the handcreams, the Divine creams and the Immortelle creams. A less spendy treat is the pillow spray, a gorgeous lavender and neroli. I spray it all over the house, relaxing yet uplifting at the same time.

Twinkleyrocks · 03/05/2020 01:25

I've eczema and wash my hands up to 100 times a day at work , so I need a good hand cream. I love love love the cherry blossom one.
I love the whole cherry blossom range in fairness but it is very expensive.

Yourownpersonaljesus · 03/05/2020 09:43

Well I finally placed an order. I’ve ordered shea butter hand cream, hand sanitiser, lavender soap, almond milk concentrate (for DD) and verbena hair and body mist. I also got a free fresh floral gift. I know lots of you recommended the almond shower oil but I’ve had that before and wanted to try products I’ve not used before. Thank you so much for the recommendations - some of them will be on my next order!

Is the Almond shower oil moisturising?

Sooverthemill · 03/05/2020 09:51

I use the Aqua moisturiser, the shea butter hand cream ( for about 10 years) and the same shower gel and body lotion. I use the shampoos too, swap around a bit. Plus the lip balm. Love the verbena range but but it's a bit of a string smell for my hypersensitive DD so save that. Also have a perfume. Basically I love all their stuff. I dint spend money on make up but I do in l'occitane products

Sooverthemill · 03/05/2020 09:53

Ooh just seen what you've ordered! Great haul

VictoriaBun · 03/05/2020 11:20

Can I ask a question. Does the shower oils not turn your shower cubicle very slippery ? I'd worry about my dc/dh going in the shower and falling over ?

TheCanterburyWhales · 03/05/2020 11:25

The shower oils (and the facial oil wash- I have the Immortelle one) turn into a kind of milky emulsion on contact with the skin iyswim? In other words, it's not just an oil, there's something else in the mix. In all honesty I'm not keen on them for that reason- I'm finishing off my facial oil/wash just because it's there.
Most things are fab though and it's one of the companies I use most. Great customer service too.

lotusbell · 06/05/2020 07:34

Received an order this week - the new almond shampoo and conditioner. Smells lovely but the conditioner is far too thin to be any good to me. The small sample size face masks are a waste of money at £4.50 and in the past I've been disappointed with the candles and room spray.
Almond fans - is the delicious paste worth trying?
Has anyone tried the new mix it yourself almond scrub?
Also, anywhere I can get a decent deal on the supple oil as I'm loathe to spend £30+ on a 100ml bottle but I need it in my life, my travel size is nearly empty.
