Lockdown wide leg trouser, any suggestions?

Evening all, I’m looking for a pair of the above mainly for wearing during this time but smart enough that I could go to the shop.
I don’t want ribbed, I’m a 47yr old hourglass so not really sure about the younger brands like Pretty Little thing- I’ve ordered stuff before and it’s been cheap fabric. I was going to buy the Camden pants from Saint and Sofia but a recent thread has put me off but they were the style I wanted.

Any suggestions please?

Why would lockdown require a wide legged trouser?

Thistle72 · 02/05/2020 17:54

To be comfortable, I’m a nurse and wear a uniform and horrible mask for 12 hours everyday so a pair of wide leg trousers would make me happy.

I have just bought the palazzo trousers from Baukjen - wore them yesterday for the first time, v comfortable but also reasonably smart. Come up big so order a size down. Also if you google you can always find a discount code!

I bought some very similar to those on Asos

Mostly polyester, but I don't mind that for the price. They're super comfy though and look smart. I'm a 5'4 hourglass and the petite fit well.

I also noticed some in m&s that weren't quite so wide. And if you're size 6/8, ted baker have a lovely pair half price.

Uniqlo often do them - I've got summer 2018 Marimekko ones in cotton and I love them and live in them when it's really warm as they have a umm... Good air flow! They're so good I snap them up when I see them on eBay.

Hope you are doing ok on your long shifts - thank you and take care.

Depending on my budget at the time, I flit between Uniqlo, Cos and Toast. Take care.

I just got some from H&M

@thistle72 if you email Baukjen a scan of your NHS badge they will give you a code for 40% off. I have the full length palazzo pants and am contemplating buying the cropped too, they are lovely and smart but comfy

Thistle72 · 02/05/2020 20:21

Thank you so much for that Baukjen code, I will have a perusal on my night shift tonight.

These from the White Company are insanely comfy and can be worn anywhere... in the house or to dinner. Search for a 15% off code. They are a bit cropped which personally I like
