Baby boobs...

Please tell me - do they ever go back to normal after having a baby?

I'm 8 months pregnant and they are gigantic. Will they ever look the same? Or stay big long run?

I don't have good news. They won't remain huge but they definitely won't go back to how the we're pre pregnancy, particularly if you decide to breastfeed. From fun-bags to sad-sacks is the best way of putting it 😥

Yep I agree with @Baby sad boobs indeed

I have quite small boobs. They got much bigger in pregnancy and I breastfed for about a month. They were like little pouches for a good few months after but they have regained their old size and shape now. My son is 2.

Breastfeeding does not make your breasts worse!!!! Pregnancy sometimes does change their shape (it’s the rapid weight gain and loss that does it). Please don’t let this put you off breastfeeding, there’s no evidence for it.

By the way, my breasts also went enormous and are now the same as before (even after breastfeeding my three children for a total of 6 years -two years each).

Try not to worry and enjoy your pregnancy!

Breastfed DS for 18 months. My boobs shrunk a bit but looked no different really. I’m pregnant again now and they’re massive again!

I can live with a less nice shape, but just not so large!

Thanks all !

My boobs were enormous during my 3 pregnancies, bigger than my stomach! Then after each pregnancy and breastfeeding they looked like scraggy empty sacs. But two years later back to normal (ish).

Bluewavescrashing · 02/05/2020 19:19

Mine didn't change at all during pregnancy or after the birth. I only breastfed for a few days each time. I have pcos and very low amount of breast tissue. So no boobs basically. But not saggy boobs.

Strange thing about my boobs is that they haven’t changed at all during pregnancy...
7 months & still in my normal bras. Not sore / no nipple difference. I’m waiting to see what happens with breastfeeding.
