So lockdown happened the very week I was due for my 3 monthly cut and highlights. I wasn't bothered at first and was in fact embracing my roots. However had a photo taken at work the other day and my god do they look terrible. I have blonde highlights and my natural colour is darkish brown (from what I can gather looking at my roots, haven't properly seen my natural hair colour in 20 years). I'd love to just buy a hair dye and dye it all brown but don't know what effect this will have on the highlights... Could it turn my hair green or something? The last time I had them done was December. Is there anyone out there who knows their hair stuff and could offer some advice please?
