What will happen to all the stock from Oasis and Warehouse?

I had a few items lined up to buy and was waiting for a sale before buying them and now they've disappeared! Do you reckon I'll be able to get these items? Will Outfit still have their stuff when they open again? Or does anyone know anything similar to these items?

Thanks so much @Nads78 and for your pm. I will definitely check out your Instagram. Unfortunately every time I looked at the Next website they weren't taking any more orders for that day and now the Warehouse dress is out of stock in all sizes! Same with John Lewis and Debenhams. I'm hoping when Outfit opens that they may have some of the stock left to buy. Don't fancy all the hordes of people though if it's true that they are going to be doing massive sales!

Stick will be sold off by the liquidators to pay creditors. Expect to see it pop up at TK Maxx and on eBay. It won't be destroyed, there is no 'brand' to protect as both stores are now defunct, plus discarding of product on this scale would be costly.

Oasis is back and open for business Grin

TeaChocKitKat · 31/07/2020 19:59

Toucan - I know - I'm so pleased! I ordered a top earlier! I'm just hoping the quality will be the same as it used to be.

They are also selling Oasis in Sainsbury's TU. I spotted stuff id seen online before they went bust.

I started a similar thread. Boohoo have bought warehouse and their site us opening soon. Also john lewis still have lots of stock.

Years ago we had a discount shop locally that used to sell branded clothes very cheap, I used to get some amazing bargains. Shocked to think that saleable clothes might just be destroyed.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 01/08/2020 20:17

Agree with @Puppylucky - I got a Warehouse jacket in a StitchFix box recently. In fact, I emailed to ask how come they were charging me full price when the company no longer existed and was told I had to prove it was available elsewhere cheaper to receive a discount - except they’re not available any more because the company are defunct!

LaGoulueRevenue · 02/08/2020 14:17

Warehouse clothes are still being sold widely online, not sure about Oasis, but they are in the same boat. I've bought Warehouse items as recently as last week. They still exist, and still be for the foreseeable under Boohoo.

TeaChocKitKat · 02/08/2020 14:51

The oasis website is up and running - I ordered something from it last week.

ouch321 · 02/08/2020 14:57

Both companies' websites are back up and running again.

However all the Warehouse models are standing like robots and it is strange.

There seems to be less to choose from stock wise on both.

GetUpAgain · 02/08/2020 15:03

For everyone commenting about waste, have a look at www.loststock.com

Basically a lucky dip of items that would have been thrown, and it helps the people who make it.

I have placed an order, waiting for it to arrive so I can't vouch for it completely but I think its a brilliant idea.

Upcycling · 02/08/2020 17:13

I too have bought a lost stock box. It is shameful that clothes will just end up in landfill

menofharlech · 02/08/2020 18:46

Thanks for posting this. I am lucky that I can take a risk on £35 quid and I like the transparency about where your cash goes.

I may be lucky and get a bargain (always need new tops) and if not then hopefully I've taken a small step to help.

Warehouse have been bought by Boohoo and they are opening up their website again soon.
