What colour should I dye my hair?

Hi,

I have been wanting to dye my hair for ages! I recently had 6 inches cut off my hair because it was so long, plain and dull.

I've had ombré, blonde, red.

I'm just bored!! It looks so plain again, I need a change.

I've asked friends and DH but none of them are much help, DH says he likes it as it is.

What colour do you think I should dye my hair? It'd be a box dye.

Also, any advice on the best days and ways to go about it?

I've bleached my hair in the past but it's been healthy for about 7 years. (Pic of my hair included)

I would say a deep mahogany red, i wouldn't bleach it again as that's hard to do at home and you'll struggle to put it right if it went wrong with the hairdressers being closed. Your hair looks in good condition so maybe go for a 24 washes one rather than a permanent to prevent further damage.

Yes I was also thinking red!

I wouldnt touch it, lovely as it is. Maybe wait till the hairdressers are open again and have a few highlights or low lights? Going darker can be difficult to reverse too.

Scarlet red would be beautiful if you're allowed

Allowed?! I don't mean allowed! I mean if it would work after lockdown Hmm

Red fades the quickest

What if it all goes Pete Tong ? Would you over dye it ?
Why not wait till there are hairdressers open? (Just in case ) !
