Which hair straighteners?

My eight year old GHDs have stopped getting hot. Do I buy another that's exactly the same? These are the bog standard ones but I see they have fancier more expensive ones on their website. Or another brand?

I need some new ones and was considering some Cloud 9s but I'll wait to hear comments from others.

I have always been faithful to GHD but I work in the salon industry and cloud 9 are better, GHD are not what they once were

I had have always had GHDs. My hairdressers used Cloud 9s. I decided to take the risk and get Cloud 9s and I have no regrets. Much much better than GHD. I love them. I also find them easier to crate waves as well

I've got the L'Oreal Steampod 3. They are so much better than my T3 One Pass ceramic straighteners.

My hairdresser told me cloud 9s were the best.

My hairdresser uses Corioliss ones, and I bought myself some - they tame my unruly curls and some! And cheaper than GHDs.
I got them from Sally Salon (think that’s what it’s called?)

Cloud 9s would never go back to GHDS

Second opinion about corioliss ones. Mine were from Amazon but wholesale hairdresser supplies sell them. Recommended by my hairdresser when my ghds gave up. they are as good probably better. Sorry for awful typing. One handed under sleeping child 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ordered some Cloud 9s!

GHD sold out and went down market.

Cloud 9s are just as good as GHDs were when they first came out.

I had my GHD's for 11 years before they died on me.
I went for cloud 9's as a replacement and haven't been disappointed.

They're really good and anyone who uses them comments that they're better than the newer GHD's.

Another one here that switched from GHD to Cloud 9. They are great.

Op I also need some new straighteners which ones did you go for the regular or th large ones? Has anyone else got the big ones? Which are better would you say? My hair is bra length and medium thickness and wavy. Can you still get nice curls with the big ones?

I ordered the regular size touch ones. They should arrive tomorrow. I will report back!
