Oasis & Warehouse - what will happen to all the stock?

My two favourite shops are no more, gutted! The only places I could reliably order anything online and know that it would fit me. Obviously more important is the poor people who will lose their jobs from this.
I was wondering though, what happens to all the stock they must have?

I ordered from the Oasis website about 2wks ago. Ordered went though. Then I got an email saying they couldn’t supply the goods and they wouldn’t be taking payment. It said it was temporary and they hoped to open up online again soon. Is that not going to happen now?

The company that own Homebase, Hilco, have bought the stock and the brand names, but not the stores/concessions.

So I’d guess they will sell the stock online.

I am gutted too. I shop a lot in Oasis. I really like the Oasis Cherry jeans, they actually fit properly on the waist. I wear lots of their tops for work. I bought an Oasis dress at Christmas and got loads of compliments when I wore it.

I went into Zara a few months ago and everything was so weird! I tried a few things on and it looked terrible. Like a previous poster I couldn’t work out how to get some of the clothes on

Boden is expensive and too obviously ‘Boden’.

Top Shop too young and trendy (I am 40 something)

Next is ok sometimes but the fabric can be a bit cheap and it’s a bit boring.

H&M is so random on the sizing I have to take tons of stuff into the changing room (which always has a massive queue anyway) and the fabrics shrink - I bought some summer shift dresses which have turned into mini skirts and can only be worn with leggings now. And the t shirts have turned into crop tops....

Uniqlo, nice styles and colours but clothes aren’t cut for the curvier figure.

Where will I shop...

Loved Oasis clothing got most of my clothing from Oasis very good clothing hope someone buys store don’t know where I will get my favourite clothing except for River Island which is good as well hope Oasis reopens as miss the brands .
