Six month smile/ fast brace

Hi.
I had a fixed brace applied about 6 weeks ago for crowding. My teeth are now straighter but I think my overjet is worse and I feel like my teeth stick out more ( it could be because they arent over lapping anymore ) has anyone had one of these braces and were you happy with the results?

Yes they do sometimes get slightly worse before they get better. Mine took 8 months, about 5 years ago now, but I'm still really pleased with them.

Plus I had a fixed metal retainer fitted afterwards (which I would really recommend), and that also seemed to pull them back another millimetre or two.

I had the 6 months smiles and love my results
