Has Anyone else got the point where they can't do anything with their hair? My scheduled appointment was the day after lockdown so mine is massively overgrown and roots are horrendous ( I am soooo grey!). Am seriously contemplating a turban. Anyone else? Or does anyone have any recommendations? And any tips for braving it through the daily zoom and teams calls?! I'm not uncomfortable with the idea but not sure I am actually do it!!

I've always wished I could get away with a turban, Liz Taylor styleGrin. I'm just doing my own roots, you can buy the stuff your colourist uses online from the salon supply shops. It's very easy to do, I stocked up just before lockdown. Failing that the loreal magic retouch spray on stuff is great as a short term fix.

Seasalt do really nice head bands. I wear them constantly. They're wide enough to cover most of your hair unless it's very long, but can be folded to look more traditional. I don't know that they'd look professional on work calls though - they're a bit beach/festivally.

Tackle the roots lady. You won't look back. Permanent colour on the roots, ~30 mins with a some on the rest of your head to blend in for about 10 mins before you rinse out.

Turban wearer here - I love them! I also wear lots of scarves in my hair normally and have a huge hat collection.

Instead of braving a turban I’d brave the hair dye and instead of trying to match the hairdresser I’d go for something different. You could always try a semi and see if it takes
