Baukjen & Kettlewell

I'm tempted to order a few bits from Baukjen and Kettlewell. I've never ordered from either brand before so was just wondering what the sizing and quality is like? Thank you.

Baukjen quality very good, I’d say it is for tall-ish ladies (things suit me and am 6ft)

I have one jumper from baukjen and really like it. It's washed well I would definitely buy from there again.

Baukjen is lovely quality. If anyone is a keyworker they’re offering a very generous discount right now too.

Thankssomuch · 29/04/2020 19:29

Yes I’ve used the key worker discount for Baukjen and it’s good - clothing quality is nice.

Kettlewell used to be mostly stretchy fabric - so ideal to show up all your bulges and lumps.

I like Baukjen. Things do often come up big though and I have to size down. If you click on description or details they normally tell you though. Don’t ever pay full price though. There is always at least 20% off offer on.

I'm a bit obsessed with baukjen, the quality is hard to find elsewhere. Well worth the cost (agree, there's always a discount) . Classic rather than trend led, I wear the stuff over and over as it washes and wears so well. Discount code style502 gives 25% right now

Baukjen is lovely. Great quality and slightly on the generous side, size wise. Size down. Their colours are a bit too drab/dusty/dark for my colouring but lovely for others.

Kettlewell is a great concept let down by poor execution.

They have low stock levels all the time. Everything is made out of thin, stretchy jersey which is very unforgiving if you're above a size 6/8. The styles are dated (waterfall cardigans and indoor scarves galore) with very few neutrals, such as oxford blue, bright navy, warm white and dove grey. They seem obsessed with stretchy clothing in lime green or bright yellow which, for most people is very unflattering. They take an age to deliver too. I want to like them but they fail on so many levels.
