Jeans for 17yr old DS- where?!

Hi all, could anyone recommend some jeans for a tall (5'11) DS who has quite chunky thighs? He's generally just a big lad, plays a lot of sports etc. We've found that a lot of jeans just don't fit him! Where do you buy jeans for big lads?
TIA

My teen DS is a beanpole, but I have found that H&M (men's not boys) are good for letting you choose exact sizes for waist and leg length, including unusual sizes - so they might be good. NB it's not all the trousers / jeans but if you look you'll find some where you can specify very exact sizes.

Thanks, JoysOfString, I'll take a look.

Definitely H&M and prices fair too.

I would go with gap who have a good choice of fits and leg length. My dc quite a bit taller but same build and we have also got jeans from next.

If he’s muscular he might find American brands like Abercrombie and Fitch / GAP / Levis etc better. The styles in Euro / Asian brands tend to be close to the thigh while US / Canadian styles are a bit roomier.

My DS played rugby and he always bought carrot shape jeans from Topshop. This was a few years ago but I googled and that shape are still sold by lots of people .

My 18 yr old likes black skinny jeans and gets them from next as u can choose lengths.

Boohoo works for DS, he’s 6’2”, 30” waist but he’s a swimmer and has leg muscles to match. Skinny or slim fit work, he can’t move in super-skinny.
