Best spot gel for 16yo boy

Ladies, can anyone recommend a really good spot gel for my DS16? Or even a whole routine? He has very good skin but is getting quite a few spots which is partly down to 'forgetting' to wash his face enough. There's no actual acne and it's not visibly greasy. At the moment he's using body shop face wash and moisturiser if he remembers.

Not a gel, but the spot patches you can get on amazon are really good. Slap one on at night and the spot is basically gone by morning. Cheap too!

Acnecide from the pharmacy in Boots.

The trick is it to use it every day on the areas he gets spots whether he has a spot or not, so preventative use, but use a tiny amount (it's very drying) and a non comedogenic moisturiser once a day.

You have to maintain the routine.

100% Acnecide, really works and, strangely, not drying.

Fantastic thanks!

Acnecide is really excellent stuff but very staining. I'd suggest giving him an old towel to use and getting him to wash his hands really thoroughly after using it

You’ve spent 16 years teaching him how to wash, if he hasn’t got the hang of it by now 🤷🏻‍♀️.

He’ll forget the acnecide too and it’ll make a mess of any fabric it touches.

Thanks for the tip @Richlyfruited !
