Extremely soft kids clothes - where to buy?

Clothes for my ds1 need to pass the 'softness' test. He has sensory issues & refuses to wear anything even remotely hard, itchy, etc. As he gets older (aged 8) it's getting even harder to find clothes. HELP. Any shops that sell v soft kids clothes? Tonight he wouldn't wear his pjs, which are 98% cotton.

What about some merino wool under garments like you'd wear hiking/skiing? Then a shirt on top and trousers over the long-johns?

Mini Boden are lovely or used to be when mine were young. They are teens now. Look out for offers they often have 25% or 30% off. They sound expensive, but wash lovely, last ages and when all this is over they hold their price and sell really well on ebay.

Uniqlo do nice kids clothes. We've some baby pieces which are very soft. They have a kuds section too

I'd recommend GAP in general but would also ask the docs. You can get pjs on prescription which have no seams etc. We had them for my step-son due to eczema

Saltrock do lovely joggers and pyjamas.

Also for trousers, what about checking the girls section. You can get soft "school" trousers with elastic ages 🙂
