Hi lovely ladies!

I'm mainly looking for robust sports bras. I looked and looked before the lock down with no joy. I have a large bust 28FF and need to be roped in!
Fabletics do 'High impact' bras but are they really supportive?

Also what are you experiences with their leggings :)

Thank you x

No help with Fabletics, but my friend swears by Bravissimo sports bras.

Others I've heard mentioned are Panache or Freya.

inwood · 27/04/2020 15:41

I don't have their bras but I really rate the leggings. I got two on the intro offer thinking they wouldn't be great but I've since bought two more pairs.

Lostnthewoods · 27/04/2020 15:41

Thanks Alarae I was also wondering about bravissimo they're always pretty good.

Panache sports bras are AMAZING if you're big boobed. I'm a 34G and swear by the underwired one!!!

Petitcanard · 27/04/2020 17:22

I use Fabletics and love their leggings and tops for style and fit but I don’t find their bras especially good for support. I’m a 32F and I have purchased a few of their bras but they’re not great for high impact activity. I would try another brand if you’re looking for the kind of support you would need for activities like running or aerobics.

dementedpixie · 27/04/2020 17:24

Look at boobydoo website for sports bras

TileFloors · 27/04/2020 19:17

I’m something around a 32H at present and very active, and swear by the Anita 5527 extreme control bras. I have five. They’re the only thing that keep it all in place while I run

LlamaofDrama · 27/04/2020 19:46

I'm a 30 FF and the Bravissimo sports bras are perfect for me for high impact stuff.

I would would recommend not going near Fabletics with a bargepole - it's a scam. They use inertia selling where they lure you in with their VIP discount 'club' then automatically take £44 from your account from there ever-after unless you go through a convoluted process to cancel it.

I got fleeced out of over £1000 before I realised. Admittedly I was an absolute plonker for not noticing it on my statements for over two years. Eventually got money back after threatening legal action.

Here's an interesting thread on MSE about it:
forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5150889/fabletics-vip-membership-swindle

massivecheeseplant · 27/04/2020 21:58

To clarify - that's £44 per month they take. It's like a subscription and it becomes 'Fabletic credit' that you use that month to buy sportswear unless you opt out for that month and it gets carried over to the next month.

It's absolutely ludicrous and makes my blood boil - so many people were duped as we didn't read the small print properly or understand what we were signing up for or forgot to cancel it after the first purchase. Who spends £500 on leggings every year anyway - that's what's most bloody annoying thing - it's so clear that it's a pure inertia selling scam. And Kate Hudson - who'd have thought she was such a con artist! Grrrrrrr

Anyway thank you for listening, it's nice to get that off my chestGrin

No it's not Confused you get a month to cancel before they charge you and it took me about 5 minutes on an online chat thing

I find it hard to believe that anyone fails to notice £44 a month for 2 years but that's entirely your own fault and is a lesson in a) reading the (not even small) print and b) being more financially aware

OP the leggings are brilliant and a bargain, as long as you use common sense and remember to cancel your subscription

RiojaHaze · 27/04/2020 22:07

The leggings are brilliant, really good quality and stay up through any exercise I've put them through - and are also squat proof and a great length if you normally have to turn them up (I'm 5 foot 4).

It's quite clear what the deal is with them and they email you to say that the payment is being taken so you can cancel it before it goes out. I haven't cancelled mine as I like them so much I'm going to keep buying from them.

I have a sports bra from them and it is super supportive but I'm not very blessed of the chest! A friend however has had a really good experience with retuning items that were too small so maybe worth a shot?

CodenameVillanelle · 27/04/2020 22:21

I got an under armour bra recently that was really good and also comfortable but I'm not big breasted

MrsPerfect12 · 28/04/2020 07:25

I love my fabletics leggings, I lift weights and happy to report they're squat proof and I've just started running and they're not falling down. Totally true to size.
