Natural shampoo and conditioner (possibly homemade)

I'm trying to cut down on the amount of chemicals I use so I'm on the lookout for chemical free shampoo and conditioner. Can anyone reccommend anything. I would be prepared to make something at home myself if someone has a good recipe.

If you would consider bar soaps, then try this shampoo bar and this conditioner bar. There are instructions on how to use them on the website, and you need to give around 1 week for your hair to adjust. I also recommend getting one of these, and putting the bars of soap on it when you aren't using them as it allows them to try properly. you can put 'style 3' on the floor of your shower once you have turned the water off as it doesn't let the tray touch the floor.
