I think I’ll go with beige. I love both pairs but I get the point about the black ones being too matchy.

Black would have been better IMO the tan looks like you are wearing them because you didn't have a black pair to go with the outfit - they aren't even a contrast like red would have been for example 🤷‍♀️

@CleanAndPaidFor I was wondering if there was a generation difference between those who think the black co-ordinates well and those who think the black is "too matchy".

I was remembering a post about two different wedding tiaras and there was a deep divide between those saying one of them was far too bling and those saying the other was far too twee.

I'm 50 and would have chosen the black, so either I'm wrong or one of us is an outlier!

(I do remember at the age of 14 being convinced I'd invented the concept of matching accessories...)
