High-quality opaque white t-shirts - anyone in possession of the 'perfect' one?

Hi all - has anyone found the holy grail of white t-shirts? I'm looking for a high-quality, thick material, and not see-through t-shirt but it's so hard to tell which ones are good when online shopping.

Very grateful for any leads! I have a great one from French Connection but it's starting to look a little bit worn, so in the market for a new one. Ideally not cropped or super tight - just a regular fit that's nice to wear under leather jackets etc.

@BalloonSlayer yes £60 but that is for a high quality t-shirt that will last for ages. It’s also made in the UK, by people working in safe conditions and being paid fairly.

I appreciate that they may be better quality, but they are still white t-shirts, so unlikely to stay brilliant white for long.

@ArtieFufkinPolymerRecords I just wash all my whites together, with a whitening detergent. Simples! I’d rather buy one good white tee that lasts for ages and look after it!

OP, I’ve found they aren’t see through, but wear a nude bra underneath. Not so thick that you can wear a darker bra if you get me.

I've accidentally made a few cloth wipes and muslins blue/grey/pink by putting them in the wrong wash, with continued use and (nappy) washing they are all back to white and you can't tell which they were. I wash all our whites like the nappies now and it's all much brighter.

No, mine is the Massimo basic one, but weirdly not available in white on the website at the moment. I bought mine last year in store. Uniqlo basic t shirts are great too.

Weekend either direct or via ASOS. They wash brilliantly and are a decent length too
